This rare recording of Four Moons features an ensemble of great musicians performing original works by Krimsky and her arrangement of Riley's "A Rainbow in Curved Air". Her work Four Moons is in four movements: Jupiter's Europa, Io, Ganymede, Callisto. Elise's Dream, an ironic spoof on well-known Für Elise by Beethoven, was written for flutist Lisa Hansen. The performers along with pianist Krimsky are Lisa Hansen (flute, piccolo), Krishna Bhatt (sitar, tabla, chinese drum), William Winant (marimba, vibraphone, glockenspiel, teponatzle, rainstick, percussion), Allen Biggs (vibraphone, rainstick, percussion), Michael Lewis (tabla).
